Sarah Jackson was minding her own business on that bitterly cold winter day on December 4th, 1998. She was filming her daughter, who was proudly saying the word 'daddy' over and over as ether mother and father kept praising her for doing so. But then Sarah heard the harshest, most foulest laugh she had ever heard of come from outside. It sounded as though the devil himself was standing outside her window, laughing in the graveyard that her house was next too. At first she ignored the laugh, figuring it was just in her head. But then she heard it again. She hesitantly peaked out her window and she saw two people down below. The first one, the man that laugh still rung in her head, looked as though he should be dead. He was literally as white as a ghost and you could see his bones . His nose couldn't really be considered a nose, it was more like two slits in the middle of his face. The second was a teenage boy. He had black messy hair and glasses. A scar as the shape of a lightening bolt was on his head. The camera still on and in her hands from filming her daughter she ran outside. Something was not right about this. Why where they in that graveyard? And something was weird about what they were holding, they were holding two sticks at each other. How strange.
Silently Sarah made her way to the side of the house. Luckily the two strange people were two caught up in whatever they were doing that they didn't notice this frightened woman recording them. Then all of the sudden a green bolt of light burst out of the teenagers wand. It was so sudden it made Sarah's heart skip a beat. Then the older man dropped onto the cold ground. Then the teenager flicked his stick and there was a faint 'pop' sound. The boy was gone.
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me
And just forget the world
Sarah was terrified. Her head was spinning. She immediately went to the police. They thought that at first that this was all rubbish and she put this together with the same technology that they use to make movies. But the went along with her story and followed her to the graveyard, finding the man dead. He didn't look much different than when he was alive. Eventually, as all big stories do, this story hit the news. First locally, then nationally, and finally universally.
The wizarding world debated on what to do. The muggles were growing very suspicious and were becoming smart. So, the leaders decided to let the secret out. Although it was probably for the best, as the wizarding world was slowly going to a lock down mode. No one was celebrating Volemort’s death. They were too afraid of the muggles finding out and and the new, harsher punishments of performing magic in front of muggles. But many wizards were strongly against this, and are very angry.
Forget what we're told
Before we get too old
Show me a garden that's bursting into life
Of course just because Voldemort is dead doesn’t' mean that there is no more evil. There still are the other Death Eaters, who are currently having trouble deciding who should take Voldemort's place. Hopefully the Order is smart enough to realize this because the Ministry certainly isn't...
We'll do it all, everything, on our own
We don't need anything or anyone
